Chester School of English opened in 1986 in the Barrio de Salamanca, the most select residential and commercial area in Madrid. The school has two centres, all within a ten-minute walk. The school offers a wide range of classes to children and adults. Apart from the courses organised here in Madrid, Chester offers courses to its students in the UK, Ireland, the US and Canada. At any one time in Chester there are approximately one thousand students attending courses.

This does not mean that Chester is a large or impersonal organisation. We pride ourselves on our close contact with trainees on our tefl certificate courses and the warm, friendly atmosphere during the courses. Our training team has wide teacher training experience, and we offer constant advice and support throughout what is a demanding tefl certificate course. This coupled with our facilities and resources combine to enable us to offer trainees an excellent grounding in teaching.
